DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GARNISH

(a) Remove the 6 clips.

(b) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front bumper garnish.

2. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH

(a) Disengage the 6 claws and remove the fog light cover.

3. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light) LIGHTING (EXT): FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia)+

5. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Front Side): REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia)+

7. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Front Side): REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia)+

8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER BRACKET LH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front fender liner bracket.

9. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER BRACKET RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

10. REMOVE CLIP

(a) Remove the clip.

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the remaining parts.

11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front bumper side support.

12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

13. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CENTER BUMPER RETAINER

(a) Remove the 6 nuts and front upper center bumper retainer.

14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER END RETAINER LH

(a) Remove the 3 nuts and front bumper end retainer.

15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER END RETAINER RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Remove the 6 nuts and the front bumper reinforcement.

(b) Disconnect the connectors.

HINT:

If vehicle equipped with laser radar sensors, disconnect the connectors.

17. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 4 nuts and the front No. 2 bumper extension.

HINT:

The front No. 2 bumper extension cannot be removed easily if the stud bolts on the back side are caught in the body.

18. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

19. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips and remove the radiator side deflector.

20. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH (w/o Oil Cooler)

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

21. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH (w/ Oil Cooler)

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and remove the radiator support to frame seal.
